Department: Sales & Customer Service
Reports To: Store Supervisor
Role Overview:
As a Cashier, you are the face of Tush Mart at checkout — responsible for delivering quick, friendly, and accurate service to every customer. You’ll operate the POS system, manage transactions, and contribute to creating a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process customer purchases using POS systems
- Ensure pricing accuracy and scan all items efficiently
- Maintain a neat and organized checkout area
- Handle returns, refunds, and exchanges professionally
- Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
- Respond to customer inquiries with friendliness and courtesy
- Collaborate with team members to maintain store standards
Requirements:
- SSCE/WAEC or equivalent qualification
- Prior experience in retail or customer service is an advantage
- Familiarity with POS machines and basic math skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- A welcoming, patient, and customer-first attitude
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends
Department: Operations & Supply Chain
Reports To: Regional Operations Manager
Role Overview:
As an Inventory Officer, you will ensure the accurate management of all stock items, keeping the flow of goods organized and well-documented. You’ll be responsible for maintaining up-to-date inventory records, preventing shortages or overstocking, and supporting efficient daily operations across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update accurate stock records in the inventory management system
- Monitor stock levels daily and initiate restocking when necessary
- Conduct periodic stock counts and reconcile with system records
- Verify and record all incoming and outgoing goods with proper documentation
- Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and finance teams for stock accuracy
- Generate regular inventory reports (daily, weekly, monthly) for management review
- Identify and address inventory discrepancies, damages, or losses promptly
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of items according to company standards
- Support operations by providing real-time updates on stock availability
Requirements:
- HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in inventory or stock management
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office tools
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to forecast demand and manage stock efficiently
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Integrity, accountability, and adherence to company policies
